THE stars of a television series visited Wokingham last week to place their bids at a local auction room.

James Braxton and Charlie Ross from Antiques Road Trip visited Martin & Pole’s auction house in Milton Road on Wednesday, August 23 to cast their expert eyes over the lots.

Antiques Auctioneer and Valuer, Matthew Coles said: “The visit went very well – I think! We are not told how much the items were bought for, so we won’t know whether they made a profit or not. We knew James and Charlie had to dash into London half way through the auction, so they could record a song for Christmas, so all the Road Trip lots were in the first half of our sale.

“We had a nice a bustling saleroom for them though, with plenty of new faces to see their favourite celebrities and see how the programme is made.”
