Berkshire Tortoise Show to take place on Saturday in Earley

PEOPLE thinking of making a home for a tortoise are invited to visit a special open day.

The Berkshire Tortoise Club is holding the event at Earley St Peter’s Church Hall in Church Road, Earley on Saturday, April 6.

Running between 11am and 3pm, the event will include displays of live tortoises, the chance to buy appropriate equipment, talk to experts and learn more about how to look after the creatures.

Children will be able to enjoy sand art, face painting and a range of stalls.

There will also be a barbecue and other refreshments on offer.

Entry costs £2, £1 for children and £5 for a family ticket.
