Binfield teenagers arrested following Wokingham burglaries

TWO teenagers have been arrested following some burglaries in Wokingham.

They cannot be named for legal reasons.

A 17-year-old from Binfield was arrested on Thursday, May 16 on suspicion of five burglaries of homes and one attempted theft of a motor vehicle.

The other boy, aged 16 and also from Binfield, was arrested on Saturday, May 18 on suspicion of stealing from six homes and one attempted theft of a motor vehicle.

Both have been released under investigation.

And the arrests were made in relation to a number of incidents that occurred between Tuesday, April 2, and Friday, May 17, at homes in Bean Oak Road, Dyer Road, Rances Lane and Woodrow Drive.
