BREXIT: Government to hold roadshow seminars in Reading to help Thames Valley businesses prepare

THE Government is preparing to bring its Brexit roadshow to Reading to help businesses in the Thames Valley prepare.

Although it is not certain that the UK will leave the European Union on Thursday, October 31, the Brexit Business Readiness Event is an opportunity to meet government advisers and find out what actions are needed to be ready.

The events will combine a keynote address, interactive support, advice stands and in-depth sessions led by subject matter experts.

The Government says that they will provide specific business-focused advice and help.

Topics covered will including importing and exporting, employment of EU citizens, personal data transfers and available support.

The keynote address will include information about available resources and help to understand what will change for businesses.

A number in insight seminars will run on a range of subjects including food and drink, farming, fisheries, waste; intellectual property rights; and international trade.

Sessions will take place from 9am to 11.30am or 1pm to 3.30pm on Monday, October 21.
It will be held at the Reading Hilton Hotel off Drake Way.
