FAMILIES from an Earley school will be doing their best to remember, remember it’s the eighth of November thanks to its annual fireworks night.

Organised by the Earley St Peter’s School Association, the annual event will be held in Sol Joel Park.

Gates will open at 6pm with the first fireworks will be launched from 7pm.

As in previous years, there will be stalls serving food and drink, including popcorn candyfloss, sweets and burgers. Adults will appreciate a bar, while children will be able to stock up on glow sticks and other novelties.

The PTA will also hold a raffle, but due to licensing restrictions, there will not be a bonfire.

Priya Vijayakumar, chair of ESPSA, said: “Why not grab a cup of your favourite drink and enjoy watching the evening sky light up with the dazzling display of fireworks and make this fundraising event a memorable one.”

Advance tickets, available until Thursday, November 7, cost £7.50, £5.50 for students, £4.50 for children or £20 for families. On the gate, add £1 to each of the prices.
