Crowthorne Ladies celebrate double success in Berkshire Tennis League

CROWTHORNE Tennis Club Ladies team triumphed as league champions in two separate division in the Berkshire tennis league. 

The first team were crowned champions in division 4B, while the second team topped division 7B and both will be promoted as a result of their achievements in the summer league.

The league format in the Berkshire tennis league consists of six teams in each division, with the top two teams at the end of the season winning promotion. 

The club also competes in a league format throughout the rest of the year, which begins in October

The Crowthorne ladies second team came out as victors in their most recent contest up against Wokingham 5s in a local derby match. 

The club are on the lookout for new members to join the club and are keen for players of any ability to attend their ladies afternoon sessions, which are held on weekends once a month. Players will have the chance to try out at Crowthorne Tennis Club three times for free before they are invited to join the club.
