A FINCHAMPSTEAD brewery is celebrating after the successful launch of a new Tap Yard, allowing it to offer some of the freshest brews around.

Siren Craft Brew, which was judged one of the top 100 breweries in the world two years ago, has opened up the 10-line yard that can serve up to 100 people at a time, giving the chance to let customers try before they buy.

The taps include core beers West Coast IPA Sound Wave and Loose Leaf pale ale Yu Lu.

The company will also be pouring Grapefruit Sour IPA Pompelmocello, pale ale Suspended In Rye, breakfast stout Broken Dream, Rye IPA Ryesing Tides, winter double IPA Forest For the Trees, Bourbon barrel aged imperial porter with tamarind Sheltered Spirit, an imperial stout with coffee and figs called Turkish (Project Barista) and an Irish Dry Stout, Afterlight.

Based at Marino Way, it will be open from noon to 8pm on Fridays and noon to 7pm on Saturdays.

Tap Yard fridges will house every Siren beer including new collaborations including Brooklyn’s Other Half, Spain’s Naparbier and neighbours Elusive Brewing.

Andy Nowlan, from Siren Craft Brew, said: “This is a really exciting development for Siren that we’ve been planning for some time.

“Our kegs are filled and immediately moved to cold storage, where the same space acts as the Tap Yard cellar. This means we’re serving super fresh beer at all times.

“In addition, we’ll now be able to run larger scale parties more regularly, offer event space for local businesses and act as a centre-point for the local community.”

The new Tap Room caps an exciting four years for Siren.

It opened in 2013 and immediately found success: Ratebeer named Siren Best New Brewery in the UK (2013) and second Best New Brewery in the World (2013). The awards continued in 2014 winning Best Brewery in the UK (2014) and a Top 100 Breweries in the World (2015).

And for parties looking for a great night out without a driver, the brewery is served by the Leopard bus route.
