Finchampstead church to launch Bible-reading course

A NEW course aims to unpack the Bible and what it means for the modern world.

It is being organised by the parish churches of Finchampstead and will take place over six weeks at St Mary and St John’s Parish Centre in Vicarage Close.

There are two sessions –Monday afternoons between 2pm and 3pm, and Tuesdays from 8pm to 9pm.

Organisers say it is a chance to find out more about what’s in the Bible, and how it should be read today and is suitable for people who are new to Christianity or have been a Christian for a number of years.
