Fireworks finale for Marvellous this July

A LOCAL music festival is promising to go with a bang – thanks to a special fireworks finale.

Marvellous is returning to Dinton Pastures in Hurst over the weekend of July 20 and 21, bringing with it the cream of the crop when it comes to tribute acts.

From The Chicago Blues Brothers to A Touch of Little Mix, there is something for everyone at the family-friendly festival. In all, 14 world-class tribute acts will be on the main stage throughout the weekend.

The weekend is packed with music and, by popular request, the Saturday night will include a Fireworks Finale once again.

A Marvellous spokesperson said: “The glorious Saturday night Fireworks Finale is making a welcome return to this year’s Marvellous Festival. The display will be launched from the island in the middle of the lake at Dinton and is sure to provide the perfect closing highlight to a wonderful day.

“It’s a great communally shared moment.”

And there’s more too: there will be the Wokingham Music Club stage showcasing local talent and The Butler rooftop stage will feature some wonderful acoustic acts.

While Marvellous is on our doorstep, you don’t need to rush away. There are camping and glamping packages available so you can stay on site the while weekend. A fairground, food stalls, bars and children’s entertainment will be on offer.
