HALES ABOUT TOWN: A comical look at life in Wokers

For years, Brian Hales produced a weekly cartoon for our predecessor, The Wokingham Times.

We’re delighted to report that he has come out of retirement and will be producing regular cartoons based on the week’s news for The Wokingham Paper.

This week, he has looked at three stories:

Hanging on the telephone: Wokingham residents share frustration over GP appointment phone booking systems

Wokingham held its first Inspire Design Home Show

And there was a massive hug around Reading Gaol in a bid to show support for a plan to turn it into an arts centre
