Henley Choral Society to host a Come And Sing Messiah day

Singers will be welcomed at special day event

HENLEY CHORAL SOCIETY is holding a Come and Sing Handel’s Messiah day later this month.

Singers are invited to join in with all the choruses from the movement, including Unto Us A Son Is Born and, of course, the Hallelujah Chorus.

The event will be led by the choir’s musical director Peter Asprey and an organist will be on hand to help reach all the high notes.

The event costs £10 in advance or £15 on the door, score hire costs £3.

There will be a warm welcome and home-made cakes to enjoy.

It takes place at the Christ Church Centre in Henley on Saturday, January 19, from 9.30am to 1pm.
