“The 3 Counties Cycle Ride is an event for cycling families and the seasoned enthusiast alike,” explains organiser Dave Donaldson of the Rotary Club of Bracknell. “You can choose from the scenic 15-mile, 33-mile or 54-mile routes which wind through Berkshire, sometimes dipping into Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. The routes are clearly signed with frequent marshals and drink stations. And at the finish, a medal, a certificate and even a massage awaits you!”
Full details can be downloaded from the website www.3CCR.org and all entrants are encouraged to enrol on line. Book your place now for just £19 (compared to £25 on the day). Under 16 entry fee is £9.
Last electronic entries should be submitted no later than Friday 31 May.
The entry fee covers the cost of certificates, medals, T-shirts, and printing. Any surplus goes directly to the nominated UK charities.

“Since the cycle ride was founded in 1983” says Dave Donaldson, “well over £600,000 have been raised for our charities. Last year more than £12,000!”
“This year’s principal beneficiaries will be Thames Valley Air Ambulance, Breakthrough Learning, the Bracknell Night Shelter, and the Rotary Club of Bracknell Trust Fund.”
