As one of our team heads off for a new role at one of the national titles, the good news is that we now have a vacancy for a JUNIOR REPORTER or possibly a TRAINEE REPORTER.
For the Junior Reporter role, you will have some media training (possibly a relevant degree and/or NTCJ training) together with some demonstrable reporting experience.
For the Trainee role you will have gained some journalistic experience and can demonstrate (through steps you have taken/ experience you have gained) that you “mean business” about making this your career.
In either case you will need the ability to work to tight deadlines, an willingness to pay attention to detail and a capacity to learn and follow the house style. You will need a full driving licence and access to a car.
