Police hunt for wanted man – warn public not to approach him but call them instead

A MAN who has been wanted by police for more than a month is still on the run.

Gloucestershire Constabulary is appealing for information on the whereabouts of Danny O’Loughlin, who has links to Wokingham.

The 42-year-old, of Waterloo Street in Cheltenham, also has links to Evesham in Worcestershire, Gravesend in Kent.

He has been recalled to prison for breaching the terms of his license: Gloucestershire Constabulary said that a warrant for O’Loughlin’s arrest had been issued by the Home Office in January following a consultation with the prison and probation services.

O’Loughlin who has been wanted for more than 28 days has also been charged for being unlawfully at large.

A statement from Gloucestershire Constabulary said: “We believe that O’Loughlin has been frequenting Cheltenham recently and are asking anyone who has sighted him to not approach him but instead call 101.

“Crimestoppers are offering a reward of up to £1,000 for information which leads to O’Loughlin’s arrest.

“Anyone with information on his whereabouts can submit this by anonymously calling 0800 555 111.

“We would like to remind the public that no personal details are taken and information cannot be traced or recorded back to the informant.”
