PROPERTY: High-tech homes come as standard at Finchwood Park

Legal & General Homes recently launched the first homes at its second development, Finchwood Park.

Located in Finchampstead – previously rated one of the most desirable places to live in the UK – Finchwood Park is an exciting opportunity for buyers to be part of a new community designed as a 21st century garden village.

Once complete, the new development will offer 1,500 high-quality homes set in 140 acres of leafy, open space, including a village green, woodland clearings, brooks and a pond.

It has been designed to offer the best of village life, with all the modern features of a contemporary home.

Residents will benefit from a wealth of on-site amenities including a new primary school, shops, children’s play areas, trim trails within the green space and allotments to grow their own flowers, fruit and vegetables.

Legal & General Homes say that the one-, two-, three and four-bedroom homes offer something for buyers at every stage of their lives: from families or downsizers to young professionals.

All properties have been designed with sustainability in mind, and there are no hidden costs, meaning smart technology like Hive thermostats are included as standard.

Legal & General Homes has opened its new Visitors’ Centre allowing buyers to meet the sales team and view interactive displays of the development.

The new homes include:

  • One- and two- bedroom apartments with spacious open-plan living and kitchens and excellent storage throughout
  • Generous two-bedroom homes, offering spacious rooms and on-plot parking or carports
  • Five separate designs of three-bedroom homes, each benefiting from bi-fold doors onto rear gardens included as standard
  • Two varieties of detached four-bedroom houses, with separate living and kitchen/dining spaces, en suite master bedrooms, rear gardens and on-site parking

John Allan, Managing Director of Legal & General Homes, said: “Following the success of our first development in Berkshire – Buckler’s Park – it is hugely exciting to launch our new homes at Finchwood Park. We are committed to delivering high-quality homes that complement the surrounding area and offer contemporary living of the highest standard to our residents.

“Our properties are designed to suit people at every stage of their lives, and their carefully thought out layouts mean can residents can adapt them as their needs change.”

Well connected to the local area, Finchwood Park is less than five miles away from the historic market town of Wokingham and near to the vibrant hubs of Bracknell and Reading.

Prices start from £245,000 for a one-bedroom apartment. For more information visit or call 0118 321 8920.
