Biopic looks at the lives of two comedy legends on their UK tour

A LOOK at the lives of two of cinema’s greatest comedians is coming to an Earley cinema tonight.

The Reading Film Theatre will be screening Stan and Ollie – featuring Steve Coogan and John C Reilly as Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. It recounts their trip to the UK and performing in local theatres, a far cry from their days of making comic shorts for the big screen.

The film will be shown tonight (Thurs 7) at the Palmer Building in the University of Reading.

Tickets cost £9, £8 for concessions, £7 for members, £6 for member concessions, £5 for students.

The cinema will be screening Green Book from 7.45pm on Tuesday, March 12 and Beauitiful Boy at 8pm on Thursday, March 14.
