The Prime Minister’s Christmas message to Wokingham Paper readers

Theresa May, one of our four local MPs, sends her seasons greetings

At Christmas we remember the message of peace and goodwill to all; but each and every week, regardless of the season, I see this spirit in our community.

As your MP, I am privileged to meet so many local people who readily give of their time and effort to help others. These are the unsung heroes of our society and it is their hard work that makes our community life richer. I hope we will all take time this Christmas to think about those who work tirelessly for the benefit of our community.

I also want to express my thanks to those in our public services and members of our armed forces who will give up their Christmas to work so that we may enjoy a safe and peaceful festive season.

May you all have a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

Theresa May, MP for Maidenhead
