VOICE OF WOKINGHAM: If ever there was a time for you to support small businesses, this is it

The rallying cry has been there for a while, but now more than ever, it needs to be heard and heeded – SHOP LOCAL.

The regeneration of the borough is in full swing and the most noticeable aspect right now is the town centre works.

With Denmark Street shut to traffic and Broad Street to follow, it’s going to be a difficult few weeks for our town’s traders.

But you can help.

Keep calm and keep shopping.

Make a point of going into Wokingham, or Woodley, or Twyford for your needs.

Place orders with small businesses rather than big faceless corporations and pay your bills on time to help them keep their cashflow going.

The end result will be worth it.
