WEAPONS were stolen when a Wokingham sports shop was raided earlier this week.

At around midnight on Monday into Tuesday, two men forced their way into K C Sports in Barkham Road.

The men made off with a number of air weapons, and police are now appealing for information.

One of the offenders is described as of large build, around 5ft 9ins tall, and was wearing dark clothing and a balaclava.

Police believe a green Subaru may have been linked with the burglary.

Investigating officer DC Robert Simpson-Jones, from Reading Force CID, said: “We are conducting a full investigation into this incident and would like to speak to anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in this area at this time.

“I am particularly interested in talking to anyone who may have seen a green Subaru car in this area at this time.

“You can contact me directly via the Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101. Alternatively if you do not want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.”
