A WOMAN was taken to hospital following a two-car collision in Hurst this week.

The woman, who was thought to be around 19-years-old, was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital following the crash in Lodge Road at around 9.30pm on Monday, but her injuries were not thought to be serious.

A man was also treated at the scene by South Central Ambulance Service but did not require hospitalisation.

Fire crews from Wokingham attended the scene after the collision resulted in a small fire, but no-one was trapped. The crews made the area safe before assisting the ambulance service.
